Ana Velchev (Belgrade, 1990) is a Barcelona based artist working with media like performance and installation.

Her current work explores, through materials, shapes and movement, the contradictions that overlap with the main focus on fun and playful vs sinister and threatening, pop culture vs high culture, presence vs invisibility, banal vs deep, gatekeeping vs visibility, masculine vs femenine, or shrinking and disappearing vs taking up space.
